Braving a snowstorm, almost 50 people from 6 teams in the Episcopal Diocese of Massachuestts and the Life Together fellows came together at Church of the Redeemer, Chestnut Hill to learn the foundations of collaborative leadership - public narrative, building relationships, team structure, and strategy - that will enable them to take action to create change together. Over a day-long training, teams drafted their shared purposes, defined roles and norms, planned actions to  create project timelines, determined goals, and delivered calls to action. This year's cohort pledged to engage 1580 people over the course of their projects through 1:1s, house meetings, and large-scale actions. It promises to be an exciting year for LDI!

Teams participating were:

  • The Crossing
  • St. Stephen's, Lynn
  • Grace, Medford
  • St. Peter's, Beverly
  • Church of the Holy Spirit, Mattapan

Other teams expected to participate in the program are:

  • Grace Church, Salem
  • St. Andrew's, Framingham
  • Tufts University Chaplaincy CAFE team
