Arrington Chambliss

Executive Director, Life Together - The Diomass Internship Program

The Rev. Arrington Chambliss is the Executive Director of Life Together.  In 2008, she founded the Relational Evangelism Pilot Project that later merged with the Micah Project, another diocesan, young adult intern program, to become Life Together. From 2003-2008, she served with St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church in Marblehead, MA as the Associate Rector.  Arrington has a longstanding history of working with programs committed to youth, community development, social justice, movement building, and spiritual growth.  She worked as a campus organizer for the Campus Outreach Opportunity League and with a team launched Project Leadership, Education, Employment Education Opportunities (LEEO) engaging gang-affiliated young men as leaders in their communities.

After receiving her Master of Divinity degree from Harvard Divinity School in 1999, Chambliss founded No Ordinary Time, an organization that worked with faith-based leaders, artists, and community organizers to integrate Christian contemplative and reflective practice into people’s active and public lives. In 2001, she was selected as a Rockefeller Fellow exploring with leaders from the private, public and non-profit sectors how to more effectively engage democracy to create a more peaceful and just society. She currently serves on the Boards of Episcopal Service CorpsEpiscopalians for Global Reconciliation (EGR), the Episcopal Diocese of MA Commission on Ministry and the Leadership Development Initiative (LDI). In the coming year, Arrington will focus on fundraising, program development and the spiritual formation of the fellows.
